Photos have been shot on camera and care and time given to their final format and composition.

Closing concerts of the week long ‘stage de jazz’ at Coaraze in the Alpes Maritimes, just to the north of Nice. Line up for Saturday night of Cyrille Aimée, vocals and uke; Olivier Hutman, piano; Michael Valeanu, guitar; Alex Terrier, saxes; Clovis Nicolas, bass; Greg Hutchinson, drums; Minino Garay, percussion.

The Friday night concert featured the Laurent Sarrien Vibes Quartet, with Laurent Sarrien, vibes; Fred d’Oelsnitz, piano; Fabrice Britoni, bass; Yoann Serra, drums.

Cat Named Jack

A variety of shots of pop/rock/soul collective Cat Named Jack taken over the last few years. Having dep’d on trumpet and trombone I’m now playing for this fun vocal-led outfit on a regular basis.


Edinburgh Jazz and Blues Festival

Shots from EJBF gigs taken down the years including the twin trombones of Miles Lyons and David L Harris, Edinburgh-based sax-led quartet JazzMain, the all girl Red Hot Rhythm Makers, Iain Hunter with the Eliot Murray Big Band, and Brian Kellock with the Tenement Jazz Band.


Gallus Jazz Weekend – October 2019

Two superb gigs from the jazz weekend staged by the Edinburgh Jazz and Blues Festival featuring trombonist and vocalist Anoushka Nanguy’s Quartet and Georgia Cecile and her Quartet. For the full line up see the blog.
